In our final Colwyn Bay in Bloom report, Bayside Radio's Jeff Pearson talks to some the winners at last Friday awards ceremony which delighted judges with the work they have done to achieve success this year.
He talks to hard-working pupils from Ysgol Llandrillo-yn-Rhos who collected a Gold in the Schools category along with first and second prize winners in the local Churches category.
There was also success for the husband and wife team Nina and Simon Cole who run the popular White Lion pub in Llanellian. They were awarded a Gold in the Pubs and Restaurant category.
A special award - The Ruth Cavill Rose Bowl - was presented to outgoing Colwyn Bay in Bloom Chairperson Ingrid Lewis acknowldging her 17 years of involvement in the awards and her contribution as the individual who has contributed the most to the promoting and highlighting the Colwyn in Bloom event.
Colwyn in Bloom is the local competition which forms part of the national event Wales in Bloom supported by the RHS.
