Colwyn Bay to pay its respects on Sunday

Communities across Colwyn Bay and Conwy County will be set to support the Royal British Legion's call for a nationwide observance of a Two Minute Silence this Sunday morning.

The respectful pause at 11 o'clock on Sunday 11th November 2018, will mark Armistice on the '11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month'. There will closures on Abergele Road the Remembrance Parade is held in Colwyn Bay.
 
Cllr Peter Lewis, Chairman of Conwy County Borough Council, said "I hope others in the community, whether they are at work or at home, will join us in observing the two minutes silence as it is even more significant this year. Commemorating 100 years since the end of the First World War.”
