Colwyn Bay aims for three-in-a-row win tonight

The Seagulls will hope to make it three wins in a row when they play Gresford Athletic at the 4 Crosses Arena tonight (Tuesday 15th October). The 7:30pm match kick off is being sponsored by Prestige Garage in Llandudno Junction.

Gresford have lost three of their last four games, but can boast a couple of excellent away wins this seasons - 4-1 at Llandudno and 6-2 at Corwen.

They beat Colwyn Bay in the Nathaniel MG Cup at the start of the season, but the Bay have progressed a lot since then, and have chalked up four wins in their last five games.

In fact, a win on Tuesday would put them to within three points of second place in the table.

Sion Edwards is a doubt for the game with a foot injury after being on the wrong end of three four foul challenges at Corwen last weekend, while Alex Downes (knee), Mike Williams and Joe Chaplin (hamstring) are all currently sidelined through injury.

Assistant manager Mark Orme, however, says the management team have every faith in the squad, with the likes of Jordan Carrington, Kian Owen and Morgan Owen having come in and done well when needed.
