Car park and toilets close at Aber Falls after visitor concerns

People looking to walk at Aber Falls may be disappointed to learn that action has been taken to prevent people from outside the locality from driving in for excercise.

Following concerns about the number of people who may be flouting the 'stay at home' rules, Coedydd Aber National Nature Reserve have announced that the car park and toilets have been closed.

The Abergwyngregyn Community Council took the decision in conjunction with National Resources Wales.

Welsh Government rules say that excercise should begin and end at home, with those driving a distance, breaking the strict national lockdown rules.

Action has already been taken by the Snowdonia National Park Authority after North Wales Police reported that some people had travelled from outside Wales to visit over the Christmas and New Year period.
