A teenager in Colwyn Bay has been airtlifted to hospital after part of a tree fell on him earlier this morning.
The pupil was on his way to classes at Ysgol Bryn Elian when the incident happened just after 10am. He was said to be in a serious but stable condition and was airlifted to Alder Hay in Liverpool.
North Wales Police cordoned off an area around Llanelian Road whilst the investigation was underway and thanked the public for their prompt actions once the alarm had been raised.
