December 14, 2020 - 914 views

Age Cymru are seeking responses to a survey on the experiences of older people who look after other people in their day-to-day lives.

As the largest charity working with and for older people in Wales their vision is to create an age friendly Wales.

Over the next few weeks, they would like to hear from people aged 50 or over who is looking after someone unpaid, including family members, friends or a neighbours.

If you answer Yes to all of the following questions, Age Cymru would like you to complete their survey:

- Are you aged 50 or over and live in Wales?

- Do you look after, or give any unpaid help or support to family members, friends, neighbours or others because of long-term physical or mental ill-health or disability, or problems related to older age?

- Are you currently not accessing any formal support or services to help you in your role looking after someone/giving unpaid support?

This survey is available in Welsh and English and should take 15 minutes to complete.

A paper copy can also be sent out to you which you can return to us free of charge, please contact the Carers Project Officer Luke Conlon at luke.conlon@agecymru.org.uk or call 07989 152529.
